With expertise in social media marketing and analytics, should drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue growth.
A little taste of your day-to-day
- Set up and optimize hotel pages within each platform to increase the visibility of hotel’s social content and foster community interaction.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and messaging and audience identification.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Expected to easily function independently and collaboratively, bringing fresh thinking, an open mind and a strong work ethic to the team environment.
What We Need From You
- Proven working experience in social media and digital media marketing.
- Social media specialist should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those
channels.
- Must have good knowledge of graphic design in order to produce and edit graphics and videos for social media use.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously with little supervision.
- BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (writing, reading and speaking).
