As an Information Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with the ISO 27001:2013 frameworks. You will be responsible for coordinating and planning activities related to the operational support of the ISMS across our multiple geographic locations. Additionally, you will actively participate in certification and surveillance audits to ensure our compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent from an accredited university.
Experience in IT security is a plus.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Security certifications are a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a sense of urgency to provide optimal support to the business.
Proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality products and meeting deadlines.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Proficiency in presentation, problem-solving, and policy documentation.

Primary responsibilities:

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and proficiency in implementing all aspects of the ISO 27001:2013 standard.
Develop and maintain ISMS documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures tailored to each implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify information assets and their ownership.
Manage the entire lifecycle of security risk assessment, treatment, acceptance, and corrective action plans.
Conduct on-site compliance audits and support or lead all aspects of the ISMS audit life cycle.
Work with stakeholders to document corrective actions, track remediation progress, and report on status.
Coordinate with stakeholders to generate regular ISMS status reports.
Establish and nurture local relationships within diverse geographic locations.
Assist in the preparation of security awareness and training materials for the workforce
