The Role
As the
Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategy and positioning of the Lombard. You will lead a team of motivated, well-trained and dedicated professionals, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and our business objectives are met. Your strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and keen attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including interviewing, training, and development of employees.
- Create an engaging environment for restaurant guests and colleagues to create and deliver new and exciting experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to maintain a creative menu offerings based on guests preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and a culture of exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager, or in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel environment, preferably in a European setting.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
